Expectations were more, when Director Agathiyan stepped into Kollywood after a long time with Nenjathai Killadhe. But the film soon becomes a great disappointment putting down our expectations. Despites carrying good script work and convincing characters, Director Agathiyan fails to add good narration and contains dragging screenplay. Vikranth does comes up with moderate performance, but it is not up to the expected level. Bharathi proves herself to be more skillful looking more apt with the role she plays.

Fine! We will have a well-defined analysis of Nenjathai Killadhe, its pros and cons soon after taking a sneak view of synopsis…

Vasan (Vikranth), a chap leading lavish life born to rich parents and Anandhi (Bharathi), a documentary filmmaker have nothing to do with each other. But situations urges destiny to make them meet and the encounters that pushes them together happens in the following manner: Vasan is in deep search of experience and thus gets a striding trip with risky tasks, having lunch in a five star hotel with no mony in his pockets, letting a sex-worker to sleep and then move away from her without even his fingers touching her.

Anandhi, as a part of her documentary project happens to meet the sex-worker and marks with her with an appealing question, ‘ one among many men who remains stunning in her mind?” the appropriate reply rendered by her is Vasan.

With a defying statement that concupiscence usually develops into love affair , Anandhi approaches Vasan does he agree with this line? It’s a contradictory reply from Vasan and now Anandhi challenges him whether he can stay with her for a week time and then decide who keeps up their challenge?

Not Vasan does fall into love with her, inturn we have Anandhi developing an affectionate approach towards him. Negligent in refusing her proposal, Vasan feels her love in Anandhi’s absence after two months. Now Vasan approaches Anandhi proposing his love, but she is already engaged to another chap (Vikramadithya).

Does these contrastive characters unite or not forms the crux of the story…

Director Agathiyan does an impressive task with an unique storyline but that isn’t the same with screenplay. At most part of the film, its more of dragging that makes us take a look at our watch atleast for half-a-dozen times. Does it alone put the film down, but letting loose with few characters makes it more unimposing. Especially, you don’t find it apt with the characterization of protagonist and at the points where he tries to impress Anandhi is again a great disappointment.

Bharathi continues to keep up her performance as she had done in her previous movie Ammuvaagiya Naan. Be it a normal or emotional scenes, she emotes well appearing to be the main limelight. As of other star casts inclusive of Nizhalgal Ravi, Manivannan, Saranya and others have done justice to their roles…

Getting on with technical aspects, its same as dragging screenplay and background score by Yugendran is the only convincing factor we have. Premji’s composing for songs doesn’t make you appreciate him rather gets you annoyed..

Valuating the whole, Nenjathai Killadhe doesn’t add feathers to Agathiyan’s cap and nothing great to say about it.

Verdict: Wanna waste your time for 2 hours? Catch out for this..

Bottom-Line : good work goes in vain
