Shriya comes back in 2009
It would be a splendid year for Shriya as she has in her kitty a host of films besides the magnum opus ‘Kanthaswamy’ ready to hit the screens later in 2009.
She is all set to share the screen with Akshay Kumar for a Deepa Mehta film besides a host of movies in Tamil. She would be romancing Dhanush for a movie titled ‘Kathir’, while she also plays Vishal’s ladylove in ‘Thoranai’. Meanwhile, efforts are on to rope in Shriya as Suriya’s heroine for a movie to be directed by K S Ravikumar.
The actress is also anticipating the release of ‘Jagghubhai’ featuring Sarath Kumar and directed by K S Ravikumar. It is an emotional saga between a father and his daughter and Shriya hopes that the movie would strike the right chord with the masses
